I am thankful for my best friend.
Here's a little story:Girl A and Boy B were great friends until they fell in love. They didn't really fall in love. It was more like mutual attraction to each other. But becuase Girl A was really bad at handling matters of the heart, the relationship fell through. Finally, Girl A and Boy B decided to split up. Not long after, Girl A had a new suitor, Boy Z. Boy Z was really nice to her and all. She decided to accept his pursuit. They became best friends. On the other hand, Boy B found his new best friend too. Girl A and Boy B drifted apart and they were good friends no more.
Years later, Girl A received a sms from Boy B. He had taken big steps forward in his life. He had married his best friend. And Girl A was going to marry her best friend too. Two people who used to be best friends had married their best friends.
Sometimes heaven really know how to make a joke out of mere earthlings.
Sometimes it really makes people think if good friends can last forever. The answer is a sad no. So I am thankful for my best friend, who promised that we'll be best friends until the end of times.
