A passing thought - confirm

How can one confirm something?

By saying yes, nodding the head or write a note to reaffirm your intention?

Then what is the opposite of "confirm"? Is it "disclaim" or "refute"?

But there is a problem.

In order to disclaim an issue, you'll have confirm/reaffirm/admit it's true in the first place. Similarly for the case of refute.

So how to un-confirm something? Can someone teach me please?

A passing thought - possession

Suddenly I was thinking about the problem of possession.

If something belongs to me, I possess that object. In other words, I own it. I have the rightful ownership.

One question arises, does possession of the object = gain control of the object?

If that object is tangible, I can gain physical control of it.
If that object is intangible, then maybe not. Then again, there's always something called copyrights.

If that object has a definite shape and volume (like a solid), then I can control it easily. I don't have to think about finding a place to keep it.
If that object has no definite shape (like a liquid or gas), then I have to think about how to prevent it from escaping.

Example: If I own a remote control car, it belongs to me. And I can control it too.

Then what about a bf? What about love?

The bf is tangible but love is not. The bf is like a solid, no need to find a place to keep. What about love? Where to find a suitable container to contain it so that it'll never escape?

Haa... Well, mr koh certainly belongs to me. But I can't control him. Coz he'll kill me for sure if I do. LOL
