Here's what it says about me.

Of the four aspects of strategic analysis and definition, it is the contingency planning or entailment organizing role that reaches the highest development in Masterminds. Entailing or contingency planning is not an informative activity, rather it is a directive one in which the planner tells others what to do and in what order to do it. As the organizing capabilities the Masterminds increase so does their inclination to take charge of whatever is going on.

It is in their abilities that Masterminds differ from the other Rationals, while in most of their attitudes they are just like the others. However there is one attitude that sets them apart from other Rationals: they tend to be much more self-confident than the rest, having, for obscure reasons, developed a very strong will. They are rather rare, comprising no more than, say, one percent of the population. Being very judicious, decisions come naturally to them; indeed, they can hardly rest until they have things settled, decided, and set. They are the people who are able to formulate coherent and comprehensive contingency plans, hence contingency organizers or "entailers."

Masterminds will adopt ideas only if they are useful, which is to say if they work efficiently toward accomplishing the Mastermind's well-defined goals. Natural leaders, Masterminds are not at all eager to take command of projects or groups, preferring to stay in the background until others demonstrate their inability to lead. Once in charge, however, Masterminds are the supreme pragmatists, seeing reality as a crucible for refining their strategies for goal-directed action. In a sense, Masterminds approach reality as they would a giant chess board, always seeking strategies that have a high payoff, and always devising contingency plans in case of error or adversity. To the Mastermind, organizational structure and operational procedures are never arbitrary, never set in concrete, but are quite malleable and can be changed, improved, streamlined. In their drive for efficient action, Masterminds are the most open-minded of all the types. No idea is too far-fetched to be entertained-if it is useful. Masterminds are natural brainstormers, always open to new concepts and, in fact, aggressively seeking them. They are also alert to the consequences of applying new ideas or positions. Theories which cannot be made to work are quickly discarded by the Masterminds. On the other hand, Masterminds can be quite ruthless in implementing effective ideas, seldom counting personal cost in terms of time and energy.

Like not much difference from that list. Haa...

On the day of the photoshoot which coincides with our 4th anniversary,

0930-1000:
Try gowns. Try gowns. Try more gowns. Finalise selection. Mr koh sit down read magazines, chit-chat with photographer.

1000-1100:
Make-up. Super long session of make-up. First layer of ampoule. Wait for it to dry. Then apply foundation. Shape the eyebrows. Apply eye-shadow, then mascara, then fake eyelashes.

Was so worried that my eyes would balloon with the mascara, coz told the MUA I'm allergic to some brands of mascara. Had bad experience with mascara before. Eyes swell up so much back then. But the swelling came only in the evening. Ever since then, I've never used mascara on my eyes. Anyway, she asked if I wanted to try hers. I thought well, ok, at most swell up at night. Haa... At least can look pretty for the next few hours during photoshoot. Really 爱美不要命. Hee.

Then it's left eye touch up, right eye touch up; left eye touch up, right eye touch up... Seems never-ending. Finally the most dreaded mascara, which she applied only at the tips of my eyelashes. A pinch of painful stings on the eyes. Tried to bear with it. Then cannot liaoz. Haiz... No choice but to remove some of the mascara nearer to the eye. When she put on the fake eyelashes, I thought I looked pretty wired coz my eyes looked so big. Hahahaa...

The cheeks and lips were fast. And ta-duh... funny-looking me in the mirror.

Meanwhile mr koh found his gold-coloured vest and balck coat. And he sat down to chit-chat with the photographer again.

1100-1130:
Mr koh's turn to make-up. Haa... His eyebrows were shaped too.

1130-1230:
Actual photoshoot. Me too short. Stood on piles of magazines + my high heels. Tedious man. This is only Round 1. My own casual blue dress. Mr koh wore his long-sleeved grey topman shirt which I bought for him.

1230-1330:
Round 2. Changed into wedding gown and more poses with different make-up and hairstyle. Simple halter-necked wedding gown. Different from what I looked at last time. This had lots of beads and embriodery. And I thought I looked quite well. Haa... The last time I tried a halter gown I looked horrible. Wierd... Mr koh wore a white shirt, and a balck coat with gold vest. Haa... Can pretend to be some rich guy.

1330-1400:
I thought it was Round 3, but no. Changd into evening gown and lunch break. After which, make-up and hairstyling again. Dark maroon/red evening gown. Very pretty. Had a hard time breathing after I squeezed into the coset-like dress. But I like its long tail, sweep here sweep there during photoshoot. Haa... Can't eat much being 'squeezed' in the evening gown.

1400-1430: Rest time. More chit chat with everyone.

1430-1530: Round 3. Couldn't smile anymore. Mouth very cramped.

1545: Changed back to my own clothes. Photographer let us view the raw samples on his comp. Wow, nice pics! Time to balek kampung. Tired liaoz... MUA was fantasic. Even give me extra fake eyelashes and sponge and told me I could use them at my Bridal Studio when I'm doing my ROM make-up. so sweet of her. In case those who don't know, I didn't have to pay for this photoshoot. I won it in a contest from a bridal magazine. And I usually thought free stuff won't be good quality. Man, I was wrong. So tempted to cancel my other contract and signed on with them instead. Good customer service doesn't come easy. She even called me tdy to check that my eyes were ok. Will discuss with mr koh.

Posed in 3 styles altogether.

Brought my digicam along, but mr koh forgot to take it out during my gown selection, make-up preparation, so no pics. *sianz* Next round go Taiwan for Outdoor Photoshoot must remind him. Super forgetful guy. Can't wait to see my album next year.

Anyway pic of my pretty shoes that I'm going to use for my ROM.

Watch my space for more photos upcoming!
