I'm so flabbergasted!!
Never mind this is delayed telecast. But I'm still gonna pen this down. You mean... You did not realise that I added new headers to my sidebar. You mean... You did not realise that I've rearranged "About Me".You mean... You did not realise that I've rearranged my links and made them open in a new window. You mean... You did not realise that I've made the header "Home" more meaningful by linking to my first blog entries. You mean... You did not realise that I've modified my footer of my messages to "JH drops a note at ..."You mean... You did not realise that I've changed all the colour combination in the other site.
You mean... You did not realise that I've inserted some script in the other site so that the email icon can change its size.
You mean... You did not realise that I've also changed the footer of my messages in e other site.
You mean... You did not realise that I've made things so much better in my blog??!!
I mean... I thought you said you're my 忠实读者??!!
So I DELIBERATELY and EXCITEDLY want to show you all that I've done, but all you did was to take only one look and say,
"Oh, good job!"
Well then...
If you ask me "Do I look different today?",
I WILL pretend that I did not realise that you've cut your hair.
HMMP!!
Where's Big Bird?
I took a Sesame Street test.
And I'm an elephant.
And I used to be invisible.
Sounds like me though. Haha...
Here's my test results.
Snuffleupagus
You scored 54% Organization, 53% abstract, and 62% extroverted!
This test measured 3 variables. First, this test measured how organized you are. Some muppets like Cookie Monster make big messes, while others like Bert are quite anal about things being clean. Second, this test measured if you prefer a concrete or an abstract viewpoint. For the purposes of this test, concrete people are considered to gravitate more to mathematical and logical approaches, whereas abstract people are more the dreamers and artistic type. Third, this test measured if you are more of an introvert or an extrovert. By definition, an introvert concentrates more on herself and an extrovert focuses more on others. In this test an introvert was somebody that either tends to spend more time alone or thinks more about herself. You are somewhat organized, both concrete and abstract, and both introverted and extroverted. I bet you didn't think you were Snuffleupagus. Let's find out why. You are both somewhat organized. You have a good idea where you put things and you probably keep your place reasonably clean. You aren't totally obsessed with neatness though. Alloyius Snuffleupagus (and all Snuffleupagus') is not sloppy by nature, but he moves so incredibly slowly that it is impossible for him to be totally organized. You both are about equally concrete and abstract thinkers. You have a good balance in your life. You know when to be logical at times, but you also aren't afraid to explore your dreams and desires... within limits of course. Snuffy generally has very basic interests, but he explores his abstract sensitive side when he plays his snuffleflute. You both are somewhat introverted. Originally Snuffleupagus was very shy and was only Big Bird's invisible friend. However as he has aged he has started to build new friendships with new characters. Like Snuffy, you probably like to have some time to yourself. However, you do appreciate spending time with your friends, and you aren't scared of social situations. So where's Big Bird, my real friend? Click below to take the test now. Shout out your results. :)
System requirements
Planning a new comp system, since my current comp has been with me for exactly 5 yrs now. I've added peripherals, softwares, upgraded and even changed its motherboard. And now it's finally showed signs of deterioation. Programmes start to hang, the graphic card is unable to support certain game graphics, applications cannot work etc etc. Everything seems to be going downhill. So the typically kiasu, or rather, kia see, me started to backup my info in my hdd. I know it's got nothing to do with the hdd, since it's really kind of new. But well, just in case.
Hopefully, I can spare some cash to build my comp. Afterall, I've so many plans and dreams that have yet to be fulfilled. A holiday in Europe, my very own Toyota Vios, my wedding, my house and the interior design etc etc. And all these need money! Sigh... everything is all about cash...
Anyway, there's no harm planning/dreaming, so here I am dreaming about my new sys req'ments.
- MSI P4N Diamond motherboard
- good CPU coolers & PSU (not much knowledge about fans & power supply related stuff)
- Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2 OS
- at least Pentium 4 2.8 GHz with Hyper-Threading technology
- Kingston 1 GB DDR RAM (myabe 2 slots of 512 RAM would be good)
- NVIDIA Quadro®4 980 XGL or NVIDIA QuadroFX 1100 graphics card
- Creative SoundBlaster Audigy 4 Pro sound card (yes, I think it's multi-channel)
- IEEE-1394 port
- 4 back & 2 front USB ports
- DVD-RW drive (not particular about brand here)
- Floppy A drive - internal
- Card-reader - external
- 80 GB 7200 RPM IDE SATA hdd
- 16X PCI ExpressTM display adapter
- LCD monitor (maybe Philips or Viewsonic?)
- Ergonomic keyboard (not particular about the mouse so long it's optical)
- Able to support Avid Free Dv and Ulead MS 7.0
Those of you who read my blog, can anyone quote me cheaply to build the above system? :)
